Cutting to finished piece, visible stage by stage.
The floor updates a stage; everyone else sees it. Owners, front-office staff, and, if you choose to share it, the customer see the same authoritative state for every piece in production - no phone calls to find out where an order stands.
Where the order stands, right now
Five-stage build model
Cutting, assembly, finishing, QC and ready-for-handover. Every order moves through the same explicit gates.
Floor-first updates
Stages are updated from the floor with minimal friction - a single tap on a workshop tablet or a scanned job card, not an email chain.
Time-in-stage tracking
How long each piece sits in each stage is logged. Over time this becomes the workshop's own historical labor data - which feeds better estimates.
Front-office visibility
The sales or client-management view shows current stage, expected next-stage date, and any at-risk flags - so client updates are proactive, not reactive.
Optional customer-facing status
If the workshop wants to share progress with the customer, a public-facing status link exposes only the coarse stage - never internal capacity or other orders.
Handover and completion record
The ready-for-handover event closes the loop and archives the order's actual timeline against the promised slot - the workshop's honest scorecard.
