The service, in one line
Bmfurn provides an AI production engine for custom furniture makers: a hosted application that accepts custom order specifications and returns cost estimates, production slots, build progress tracking, and material sourcing alerts, along with supporting workshop tooling.
Accounts and access
Workshop accounts are created for a single workshop or manufacturer. Access is extended to authorised team members by the account owner, using login credentials emailed after registration. Sharing credentials outside the workshop's team is not permitted.
You are responsible for keeping credentials safe and for the actions your team takes on the workspace.
Fair use of the production engine
Bmfurn is licensed to be used to plan, quote, schedule, track, and source materials for custom furniture production runs. It is not licensed to be used as a data source for competitive product benchmarking, to be resold as a hosted service to other workshops, or to submit content that infringes third-party rights.
Reasonable rate limits and active-order limits apply per tier, described on the pricing page.
Data ownership
The workshop owns the data it enters or produces on Bmfurn - custom orders, cost records, schedules, build events, and vendor ledger entries. Bmfurn holds this data to operate the service on the workshop's behalf.
On written request, workshop data is exported to the workshop and purged on account termination as described in the Privacy Policy.
Estimator, scheduler, and honest limits
The cost estimator is built to be as accurate as the rate book it is given. Estimates are just that: estimates - close approximations based on the workshop's configured rates, current pipeline, and historical labor data. Final invoicing remains a workshop decision.
Similarly, the scheduler models capacity from the workshop's stated stage capacity and historical labor hours. Real-world variance (illness, tool downtime, supplier delay) still needs workshop judgement to handle.
Availability and support
We aim for high availability of the production engine and target a 99.5% monthly uptime for the hosted service. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance. Support responds within one working day for the Workshop tier, priority for the Growth tier, and dedicated for the Manufacturer tier.
Billing, changes, and cancellation
Pricing is quoted per workshop based on active order volume and team size. Charges are billed either monthly or annually. Tier upgrades are pro-rated during the billing cycle. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; no further charges apply after cancellation is confirmed.
Confidentiality of workshop data
Workshop data - rate books, cost records, order details, vendor rates - is treated as confidential to that workshop. It is not shared with other workshops, sold, or used to train shared models. Support access to workshop data is logged.
Liability, limited
Bmfurn provides operational tooling; the workshop remains the professional maker and remains responsible for what it quotes, promises, and delivers to its own customers. Aggregate liability under these terms is limited to fees paid for the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Changes to these terms
Where changes to these terms materially affect how workshops use the service, registered account owners are notified by email in advance, with a summary of what changed and why.
